Personal transportation vehicles recalled over fuel leak at injector fitting
About 90,800 E-Z-GO personal transportation vehicles are being recalled because fuel can leak at the quick-connect fitting between the fuel line and the fuel injector.

E-Z-GO model year 2020-2025 RXV Freedom and 2023-2025 Valor PTVs with serial numbers from 5538278 through 5920722, and model year 2020-2022 TXT Freedom and Valor PTVs with serial numbers from 3455024 through 3582057, are being recalled. The serial number is printed near the base of the steering column on RXV models.
The vehicles can leak fuel at the quick-connect fitting between the fuel line and the fuel injector mounted on the engine, posing a risk of serious injury and a fire hazard. The CPSC notice states that no injuries or incidents have been reported.
About 90,800 units were sold, with about 7,300 more in Canada, at Textron dealerships and distributors nationwide from September 2019 through June 2025 for between $8,400 and $14,000.
Consumers should immediately stop using the vehicles until they have been inspected and repaired if needed, and contact Textron E-Z-GO or an authorized dealer for a free inspection. If any signs of fuel leakage are found, an authorized dealer will replace the fuel line free of charge.
