Ten drawer dressers recalled for tip over and entrapment hazards

About 610 Gunaito 10-drawer dressers sold on Walmart.com are being recalled because they are unstable when not anchored to a wall and violate the STURDY Act stability standard.

What this means for you

Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.

Our severity reasoning: Scored 3 under the risk-of-harm criterion: the dressers pose a tip-over and entrapment hazard to children and the notice states no injuries have been reported.

Plain-English summary

Gunaito 10-drawer dressers in brown and white are being recalled. The dressers have a metal frame, a wooden top, 10 collapsing fabric drawers of different sizes with pull knobs, and four side pockets. They measure about 39 by 39 by 12 inches and weigh about 30 pounds. "HD006BN-SLCD" or "HD006WH-SLCD" is printed on the packaging.

The dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, posing tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in injury or death to children. They violate the mandatory stability standard required by the STURDY Act. The CPSC notice states that no injuries or incidents have been reported.

About 610 units were sold on Walmart.com from December 2024 through August 2025 for about $70.

Consumers should stop using an unanchored dresser immediately and move it where children cannot reach it, then contact Gunaito for disposal instructions to receive a full refund. A photo showing the dresser has been disposed of must be sent to [email protected].
