BMC recalls Kaius 01 bicycles and framesets for fork separation hazard

About 1,300 units are affected. They were sold nationwide through authorized BMC bicycle dealers and online for between $4,500 and $12,000.

BMC has received two reports of V5 fork steerers separating from bicycle frames. No injuries have been reported.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bicycles and contact an authorized BMC dealer for a free inspection and free replacement of the forks.
