GT LaBomba Bicycles Recalled Due to Fall and Injury Hazards

The bicycles were manufactured in Taiwan and sold in model years 2019 through 2023 in colors including sea green, green, dusty blue, blue, purple, and red. The model name "LaBomba" is printed on the frame top-tube, and "GT" is printed on the downtube.

The headtube/downtube weld can become damaged and separate from the bicycle frame, posing fall and injury hazards to riders. The firm has received five reports of damage to this weld, causing the headtube to separate from the frame.

The bicycles were sold through bicycle stores nationwide from October 2018 through September 2023 for between $400 and $1,450. No injuries have been reported.
