Nautilus Treadmills Recalled Due to Fall Hazard Risk
Nautilus is recalling about 7,300 treadmills because they can start on their own, creating a fall hazard. No injuries have been reported to date.
What this means for you
Minor labeling or packaging issue, or a voluntary precautionary recall. Risk of harm is low but real — follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Our severity reasoning: The source explicitly states no injuries have been reported. Although the hazard (unintended startup causing a fall) is a theoretical risk of harm, the absence of actual injury and the availability of a simple software fix make this a precautionary recall meeting the Moderate criteria.
