Canyon Furniture Recalls Creekside Children's Five-Drawer Chests for Tip-Over Hazard

Canyon Furniture Company, of Seffner, Florida, has recalled Creekside Kids Five-Drawer Chests sold exclusively at Rooms To Go stores nationwide and online from April 2020 through March 2021. The recalled chests, available in charcoal and chestnut colors, measure approximately 43.5 inches tall, 31.5 inches wide, and 18 inches deep.

The chests are unstable if not anchored to the wall, creating a tip-over hazard and risk of entrapment that can result in death or serious injuries to children. The product does not meet the performance requirements of the voluntary industry standard ASTM F2057-19. No injuries have been reported.

The recalled chests can be identified by the SKU number 34595035 (charcoal) or 34495045 (chestnut) and the manufacture date printed on a label on the back of the unit. Approximately 1,200 units were recalled.
