BRAV USA Inc. is recalling approximately 156 Swix branded Focus Down Jackets Jr. due to strangulation and entrapment hazards. The recalled jackets feature drawstrings in the hood and waist areas that can become entangled or caught on playground slides, handrails, school bus doors, or other moving objects. These jackets were sold in black, navy, and red in four junior sizes (128, 140, 152, and 164) from September 2020 through March 2021.

The jackets were sold at WMS Store, Gallatin Alpine Sports, other outdoor and ski apparel stores nationwide, and online at www.swixonline.com. They were also sold to ski racing clubs and others for approximately $160. The product was manufactured in China and marketed to winter athletes for use in activities such as Nordic skiing.

No incidents or injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately take the recalled jacket away from children and remove the drawstrings to eliminate the hazard. Alternatively, consumers may return the jacket to BRAV USA for a full refund, with shipping included.
