Polaris Recalls 2018 RZR XP Turbo S Vehicles Due to ROPS Fracture Hazard

The recalled vehicles were sold in red and blue from January 2018 through August 2018 at Polaris dealers nationwide for about $27,500. The vehicle identification number (VIN) and model number are located on a label affixed to the vehicle frame in the left front wheel well.

The recall is due to a hazard where the vehicle's rollover protection structure (ROPS) can fracture in the event of a high-speed rollover, providing inadequate protection. Polaris has received six reports of rollover protection structures fracturing during rollovers and one report of an injury, though the company does not attribute the injury to the ROPS fractures.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled ROVs and contact a Polaris dealer to schedule a free repair. Polaris is contacting all registered owners directly.
