Masterbuilt Manufacturing, LLC is recalling approximately 41,000 Masterbuilt and Cabela's 7-in-1 gas smokers. The recalled units were sold in green or stainless steel with a Cabela's logo, or in black with a Masterbuilt logo. These smokers feature a three-piece cylindrical body design and weigh about 32 pounds.

The recall is due to a fire hazard caused by the PVC gas hose potentially disconnecting during use. Masterbuilt has received five reports of the hose becoming disconnected, including one report of property damage from a fire. There have been no reports of injuries.

The affected smokers were sold at Army and Air Force Exchange, Cabela's, Gander Mountain, and other stores nationwide, as well as online at Amazon.com, from April 2011 to October 2016 for approximately $150 to $200. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled smoker and contact Masterbuilt at 800-489-1581 or online at www.masterbuilt.com to obtain a free replacement rubber LP gas hose.
