Milliken & Company, of Spartanburg, S.C., is recalling approximately 550,000 units of dry carpet cleaning powder under the Arm & Hammer, Capture, Healthy Home, Oreck, Resista, and Riccar brands. The recall was issued because the powder can contain harmful bacteria. The recalled products were sold in various sizes and lot numbers, with the lot number printed on stickers on each container. The dry carpet cleaners were sold at Home Depot, Lowe's, Menards, Oreck, Walmart, and specialty carpet and vacuum stores nationwide from July 2015 through September 2016. Prices ranged from $5 to $40 for individual bottles or $20 to $50 for kits.
