Polaris Recalls Ranger 570 ROVs Due to Fire Hazard

Polaris Industries Inc. is recalling approximately 43,000 2015 and 2016 model year Polaris Ranger 570 recreational off-road vehicles (ROVs). The recalled vehicles include the Ranger 570, Ranger 570 EPS, Ranger 570 EPS HD, Ranger 570 EPS ZUG, Ranger Crew 570, and Ranger Crew 570 EPS models. These vehicles were sold at Polaris dealers nationwide from August 2014 through June 2016 for between $10,000 and $12,500.
The recall is being issued because the ROVs can overheat during heavy engine loading, slow-speed intermittent use, and/or high outdoor temperatures, which can cause them to catch fire. Polaris has received seven reports of the recalled ROVs overheating and catching on fire. No injuries have been reported.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled ROVs and contact Polaris to schedule a free repair. Polaris is contacting all known purchasers directly.
