Manufacture date codes include FM, GA, GB, and GC, which are stamped on the torch handle at the end closest to the flame. Units with a "0" above the word "Harris" and to the right of the rivet head are not included in this recall.

The recall involves approximately 13,000 units in the United States and 350 units in Canada. The torch handles were sold individually and as part of various kits from December 2013 through May 2014. They were available at Home Depot and Lowe's stores, industrial gas distributors including Airgas, Praxair, and Matheson, other retailers nationwide, and online at www.homedepot.com and www.lowes.com. Prices ranged from $125 to $450 for individual units and $250 to $1,230 for kits.

The torch handles can leak oxygen or fuel, which poses a fire hazard. No injuries have been reported.
