The recall involves models OPS-2500-CF, OPS-2500-CFR, and OPS-2200Y-CF, which were sold at Packaging Tape warehouses in Wisconsin and online at CleanFreak.com, AirMovers.com, FloorBuffers.com, and PTIPackaging.com from February 2008 through December 2010 for about $145. The units were imported from China by OPS America of Loretto, Minn.

The air mover's thermal switch can fail, causing the motor to overheat and posing a fire hazard. Packaging Tape is aware of eight reports of incidents, including four reports of fire, one of which was associated with about $225,000 in reported property damage.
