Lion Force Inc. is recalling boys' black hooded puffer coats due to a strangulation hazard. The coats feature dark gray drawstrings through the hood that can pose a risk to children. The affected garments are 100% nylon on the outer shell with a zip-off hood, elasticized wrist cuffs and waistband, and two front Velcro-flap pockets. The "Lion Force" brand name is printed on the upper left side of the front and on the sewn-on tag at the back of the neck. The recall involves coat sizes 4 through 12.
About 2,400 units were sold exclusively at Burlington Coat Factory stores nationwide from November 2010 through September 2013 for approximately $30. The coats were manufactured in China. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.
