The recall involves approximately 150 units sold in Texas and Pennsylvania, as well as online, between June 2012 and October 2012. The crossbows are 36 to 39 inches long, camouflage/black in color, and feature a scope mounted on top. They were sold with a scope, arrow quiver, quiver brackets, cocking aid, and string changer.
The crossbows pose an injury hazard because they can fire unexpectedly when the auto-safety mechanism appears to be on and the trigger is pulled. Additionally, the crossbow limbs can crack or break under normal use. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.
