The affected units are propane gas fire columns with a rectangular brick-styled base and a bowl-shaped top with lava rocks. Only products with serial numbers running sequentially from 0081959SD through 0087754SD are affected. The model number GFP207 and serial number are printed on a label located inside the door on the base.

The columns were sold at Costco from August 2009 through February 2010 for about $200. Agio has received five reports of fires, but no injuries have been reported. The product was manufactured in China and distributed by Agio International Co. of Hong Kong.

Consumers should stop using the fire columns immediately and return them to any Costco retail outlet to receive a full refund.
