The firm is aware of 12 incidents of fire in the fuel storage hopper. Three of these incidents resulted in blisters and minor burns to the hands. The furnaces were sold in green, black, brown, camo, gray, red, and taupe colors, with the WoodMaster logo and AFS900 on the front.

These furnaces were sold at authorized plumbing and heating stores nationwide and through direct sales between July 2006 and February 2009 for about $6,000. Consumers should stop using the recalled furnaces immediately and contact Northwest Manufacturing to schedule a free repair. All known consumers have been notified.
