The sweatshirts were manufactured in China and sold at retail stores in Los Angeles, California, and Las Vegas, Nevada, from November 2008 through December 2008 for about $19.
The recall is being issued because the drawstrings through the hood pose a strangulation hazard to children. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) states that no injuries have been reported in connection with this product.
Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the sweatshirts to eliminate the hazard.
