PlayKids USA Baby Walkers Recalled for Fall Hazard

The recall is due to a safety hazard where the walkers can fit through a standard doorway and are not designed to stop at the edge of a step. Babies using these walkers can be seriously injured or killed if they fall down stairs. No injuries have been reported to date.
The walkers were sold by small independent specialty juvenile retailers nationwide from February 2003 through April 2004 for between $29 and $39. Consumers should stop using the recalled walkers immediately and contact PlayKids USA, Inc. at (718) 797-0302 collect between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday to receive a full refund.
