Why these products were recalled

An out of specification component on the control board may cause the ventilator to open the inspiratory channel and the expiratory valve. The ventilator will shut down and an emergency buzzer providing an acoustic alarm and the blinking alarm LED on the device s front side.

The agency’s own wording, quoted from the enforcement report.

The unit total adds up the quantities the agency stated for each product. Where a product record gave no figure, or gave a weight rather than a count, it contributes nothing — so the real total is at least this, never less.
