The products were sold at a farmer’s market and shipped to retail locations in Oregon. The issue was identified after the firm received three consumer complaints reporting the presence of hard crystalline pieces in the sausage.
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Consumers who have purchased these items are urged not to consume them and should throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
