The products were shipped to Port Newark, New York. The issue was discovered by FSIS investigators during product surveillance at Virgin World Foods, DBA/Banou International Food, in Hopyard, Calif.

Because the products were not subjected to full inspection, a possibility of adverse health consequences exists. FSIS and the company have received no reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Consumers concerned about a reaction should contact a healthcare provider. FSIS is conducting recall effectiveness checks to ensure the product is no longer available to consumers.
