The ground beef patties were produced on April 6, 2015, and shipped to warehouse locations in Connecticut and Maryland. The issue was identified when the establishment observed a cotton/poly blend blue string in one of its machines during cleaning. The company contacted the FSIS District Office because it believed some of the string may have ended up in the final product.
