The items include bulk boxes and chubs of beef salami, chicken aufschnit, chicken pastrami, chicken salami, cooked turkey breast, smoked turkey breast, turkey breast mexican, olive turkey breast, turkey delight, turkey pastrami, and turkey roll. These products bear establishment number “EST. 40009” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
The products were shipped to retail locations in New York. The problem was discovered because the products were produced without federal inspection and bore the mark of inspection from another establishment without authorization. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ refrigerators or freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
