The recall was initiated after the company notified the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) on March 15, 2017, regarding three consumer complaints received between March 2 and March 9, 2017. Of these complaints, one reported a minor oral injury associated with consuming the product. FSIS has not received any additional reports of injury or illness. The product was shipped to retail distribution centers in Illinois and Pennsylvania.
