The products were distributed to processing plants in Alabama, Florida, Iowa, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. FSIS states that the products likely did not reach consumers. The issue was discovered after FSIS personnel reviewed records in the Automated Commercial Environment database and found that the product failed to present at a Minnesota point of entry for re-inspection.
