Although the country of origin recalled the product, FSIS issued a formal recall because the items entered U.S. commerce without proper inspection.

The products were distributed in Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia.
