These items bear establishment number EST. 7147 inside the USDA mark of inspection and were shipped to a distributor and retail locations in Missouri.

The issue was discovered on January 3, 2017, when State of Missouri Department of Agriculture Compliance Investigators found the sausage products in a retail case and noted that the individual cryovac packages were missing ingredients statements and safe handling instructions, although the master case was properly labeled. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
