Great Dane Trailers is recalling certain 2023 Champion trailers. The recall addresses a defect where the Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) on the certification labels may be incorrect. As a result, these trailers fail to comply with the certification requirements of 49 CFR Part 567.

The incorrect VIN labels create a risk that owners may not recognize their trailer is involved in a safety recall. If owners are unaware of the recall, they may not have the remedy performed, which could increase the risk of injury, fire, or a crash.
