Summit Bodyworks is recalling certain 2019-2022 Ford Transit 350 vehicles equipped with specific Cummins Onan QG 2800i or Onan QG 2800i EVAP generator sets. The recall addresses a defect where the fuel hose between the fuel filter and the Injection Pump Module (IPM) may not be properly secured. This issue can cause a gas leak, which increases the risk of a fire in the presence of an ignition source.
Owners of affected vehicles should contact Summit's customer service at 1-303-348-2681 to schedule a repair. Cummins will inspect and replace the fuel hose and clamps as necessary at no charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on May 26, 2023. Summit's recall number for this campaign is PG5215.
