Blue Bird Body Company is recalling certain 2022-2023 Vision school buses equipped with a 7.3L gasoline engine. The recall involves 2,559 vehicles.
The transmission cable may not have sufficient clearance from the gasoline fuel supply line at the left rear corner of the engine. This lack of clearance can result in a fuel leak. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
Dealers will inspect and reroute the transmission cable free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on February 9, 2023. Owners may contact Blue Bird's customer service at 1-478-822-2242 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
