Winnebago Towable is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 Winnebago Minnie 2201DS and 2450BHS travel trailers manufactured between May 7, 2012, and November 13, 2014. The recall also includes 2013-2015 Sunnybrook Remington 2200DS and 2451BHS travel trailers manufactured between May 7, 2013, and November 13, 2014.

The defect involves the axle potentially contacting the black liquid propane pipe fitting. This contact can cause the fitting to crack or break. If the fitting fails, propane may leak, which increases the risk of a fire.

Winnebago Towable will notify owners, and dealers will install a metal tubular steel bump stop to the frame to correct the issue. The recall began on January 19, 2015. Owners may contact Winnebago Towable customer service at 1-574-825-5250 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
