Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain model year 2012 and 2013 Surveyor travel trailers manufactured between August 12, 2011, and April 6, 2012. The recall affects specific floor plans where the liquid propane (LP) gas line was routed and fastened along the bottom of the frame rail.
On these affected trailers, the positioning of the LP gas line may allow the "U" bolt on the axle to pinch the line between the main rail and the bolt when the trailer hits a bump. This pinch can cause the line to break and leak LP gas, which may result in fire, injury, or death.
