Alcon Recalls LX3 Microscope Floor Stands Due to Cabling Issues
Alcon is voluntarily recalling LX3 Microscope Floor Stands because cabling issues may cause loss of functionality or illumination failure.
What this means for you
Minor labeling or packaging issue, or a voluntary precautionary recall. Risk of harm is low but real — follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Our severity reasoning: The recall is a voluntary precautionary action for a functional defect (loss of functionality/illumination) with no reported injuries or illnesses, fitting the criteria for a moderate severity score.
