The recall covers 1,040 cases across the recalled products, from lots 80861, 80870, 80946 and 80965, sold to seven distributors nationwide. The product is not for retail sale and is intended for institutional use. The FDA has classified the recall as Class I.

Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious infection, particularly in pregnant people, newborns, older adults and people with weakened immune systems. Ready-to-eat products are eaten without further cooking.
