Microsoft Recalls Surface Pro AC Power Cords Due to Fire and Shock Hazards

Consumers should immediately unplug and stop using the recalled power cords. They should contact Microsoft toll-free at 855-327-7780 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT Monday through Friday, or visit www.microsoft.com and navigate to Support, then Surface Support, then All Surface Support, then Power Cords, to obtain a free replacement AC power cord.
