The recall involves specific models including All-Pro (SPC-15R & SPC-30R), Reddy Heater (HD15A & HD30A), and MASTER (TT15A & TT30A). These heaters were imported from China and sold at home centers and hardware stores nationwide between September 2002 and January 2005 for prices ranging from $45 to $120.

The recall is necessary because the plastic ring on the heater's regulator can crack. If the propane tank and heater regulator are turned on, this crack can cause gas to leak out, creating a fire hazard if an ignition source is present. The companies have received four reports of incidents involving minor burns to the hand and two cases of minor property damage.

Consumers should stop using these heaters immediately. Because the firm is out of business, a remedy is no longer available, and consumers are advised to discard the product.
