The nightlights were sold at dollar stores in the eastern portion of the United States between April 2001 and March 2003 for about $1 each.

The nightlights pose a serious hazard of electrocution, electric shock, burns, and fire. Trisonic has received a report of a nightlight exploding, which resulted in laceration injuries to a consumer.
