FDA (Food) recall action 63005
The FDA (Food) publishes a recall like this one as 3 separate product records. They share a firm, a date and a cause; this page is all of them in one place, so the scale of the action is visible rather than spread across 3 pages.
Interstate Seafood is recalling Korean Frozen Oysters because they have been prepared, packed, or held under insanitary conditions whereby they may have become contaminated with filth, or whereby they may have been rendered injurious to health.
The agency’s own wording, quoted from the enforcement report.
The unit total adds up the quantities the agency stated for each product. Where a product record gave no figure, or gave a weight rather than a count, it contributes nothing — so the real total is at least this, never less.
Interstate Seafood is recalling 5,512 cases of frozen half shell oysters because they were prepared under insanitary conditions, posing a potential health risk.
Interstate Seafood is recalling frozen tiny oyster meat because it was prepared under insanitary conditions, potentially rendering it injurious to health.
