This recall was mandatory by the States. Frozen Oysters from Korea is considered adulterated. First found out by one of our customer in NY called Sunny Seafoods on 5/07/12 asking about the recall. Inspector from NY Dept. of Health notified our customer. Oyster farming area in Korea found to be adulterated.

Sunny Seafoods Inc is recalling 150,000 pounds of frozen half shell oysters from Korea because the farming area was found to be adulterated.
Sunny Seafoods is recalling 80,000 pounds of frozen oysters packed in Korea because the farming area was found to be adulterated.
Sunny Seafoods Inc is recalling frozen cooked oysters from Korea because the farming area was found to be adulterated. The recall covers products distributed from Massachusetts to Georgia.
