Sunbeam Products Inc. is recalling approximately 1,290,000 Oster French Door Countertop Ovens. The affected models are TSSTTVFDXL, TSSTTVFDDG, TSSTTVFDMAF, and TSSTTVFDDAF. These ovens have spring-loaded bilateral glass doors with metal handles and were sold from August 2015 through July 2025.

The doors on these ovens can unexpectedly close while in use, posing a burn hazard to consumers. Sunbeam Products Inc. has received 95 reports of the doors unexpectedly closing, resulting in burn injuries. Two of these incidents involved second-degree burns.

The recalled ovens were sold at Bed Bath and Beyond, Costco, Walmart, and other retailers nationwide, as well as online at Amazon.com and Overstock.com, for between $140 and $250. An additional 104,195 units were sold in Canada.

The repair kit includes a clip-on device to provide additional holding force for the doors and requires no tools to install.
